Grief finds its people

Grief is a strange thing. Everyone experiences it differently. There is no universal timeline, no handbook, and no perfect way to navigate it. What brings comfort to one person may not help another at all. But one thing I have learned through my own journey is this: keeping grief to yourself rarely makes it easier.

Today, I spent a day talking to people who understand loss. A woman who lost her husband almost two years ago and is raising two boys on her own.
